lyrics
Is this another one of your games?
Do you see through your eyes?
Go back and forth with your words and bullshit
I'll take you for granted this time
I'm pushing faster through this
I'll make it happily
Just sit back and relax and see how I will be
No more misunderstandings
things that will take away from the man I am
There stitches have broken but I'll pull through
Complete control of everything I want to become
I'll render my soul as a vessel
and pave the way
for everyone
It ain't me
You keep floating away from me
and now I see your eyes
that your becoming monster I won’t hold onto
I'll raise my glass up high
to things i can not change
befriending demons was my choice
just fucking wait and see
The reformation of a sinners mindset
I’m your present
I’m your past
I can’t take it
you fucking lunatic
stop playing games with my mind
im so sick of it
I'll sew my eyes shut
I'll never see that way
And ill be fine
Just come and say that you’ll understand
This expansion of yor inner being takes
why can’t you open your eyes?
A requisition of or blood we are now brothers
why can’t you open your eyes
Open you eyes
Offer the wind something for guiding me
all of my sins a master piece
but how can you expect me to live this way
on my knees
afraid to bleed
I have become the monster
I was created to be

Two impressive vocalists, variable and skilled guitarists and a tight and very powerful rhythm section. That plus the ability to write a song really leaves nothing left to desire here. mourner
Awesome lyrics. Awesome screams. Intense riffs. Intense drums. One of the best albums I know. "Sleep Paralysis" is my absolute favourite song besides the lyrical intense song "Life//List". ShatteredBlackStar
Screamo, post-rock, and a little black metal meld together for Virginia quartet Infant Island's signature immersive and melancholy sound. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 28, 2020
Been listening to this since 2013. Eventually tried to track down a CD but now I'm starting to go digital. So, has 7 years of listening to this EP dulled the experience? Not even slightly. Amazing work. From Nathan's ghost beats on the snare, polyrhythmic measures and insane kick pedal work, Eric's unique tone on vocals and both Aaron and Josh's melodies and interesting structures. Just hope they get the chance to tour England soon. JAY DYER
